South Bay Document Destruction has many decades of experience in the professional document destruction and recycling industries, founded in 1978 by John Barile Sr. and John Barile Jr. Throughout almost 40 years of operation, the business has remained continuously family owned and operated. John’s sons, David and Mark have continued their family legacy; the success of the business is a direct result of long standing values where people and privacy come first. Those values and putting our customer first are still the cornerstone of our business today.

We specialize in coordinating and implementing confidential destruction programs, designed to fit each customer’s individual needs. SBDD’s equipment and facility are equipped with state of the art technology and all the resources needed to expertly manage destruction services for any job, no matter the size of the job or the requirements. Our capabilities include but are not limited to: personnel, equipment, facilities, containers and transportation in performing all work requirements identified.

SBDD is headquartered on a two acre facility which is specifically designed to accommodate document shredding and destruction services from small to large organizations on a daily basis. South Bay Document Destruction’s employees are experienced, knowledgeable and understand all the aspects important to the document destruction process. We can deliver security containers and provide onsite mobile shredding, offsite shredding or for highly confidential/Top secret, DoD (Department of Defense) shredding for any size job.

Our state of the art security camera system boasts (35) color, high resolution, pan/tilt/zoom cameras throughout the entire facility all the way through the shred process. With our high capacity video data storage, you can view your material being destroyed up to 6 months after it is gone. Also, South Bay’s entire fleet of radio dispatched trucks are equipped with GPS tracking, which establishes a tight chain of custody from the time we pick up the material.
